HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO US
On Monday 7 April 2014 the Community Gym at Loddon opened its doors for
the first time. Today (Saturday 7 April 2018) we celebrate our 4th birthday.
While there have been times in the past when we seriously doubted we
would reach such a milestone the determination of the Committee which
manages the Gym together with the commitment of you, its users, has
ensured we enter our fifth year in a spirit of optimism.
Little-known fact - 8 of those who came in our first month are still regulars.
You know who you are. Please take a bow, and keep coming.
And just as important keep spreading the word.

LIONS SUPPORT COMMUNITY GYM
A generous donation of £1,000 by Bungay Lions has helped the Gym to continue to provide an important local fitness facility.
The cheque was presented by Jane Gardiner, President of Bungay Lions, to Hon Secretary Richard Birbeck at the Loddon Swan on Saturday 3rd February.
Hon Chairman, Dennis Passingham said
"As a community facility with users from local towns and villages we rely on support from charitable organisations and are extremely grateful to the Lions for helping us in this way”.
GYM HITS THE 10,000 MARK
Early August saw the 10,000th visit to the Gym since it opened in April 2014. That's an average of around 250 visits every month. We would like to thank all our members, new and longer-term, for their continuing support for this community facility.
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Our thanks to those who came along to our 2017 AGM.
The formal minutes are now below.
We are pleased that we seem to be delivering what you want
